November 29th

We had a nice Thanksgiving in Tennessee. We drove...it wasn't that bad. We stopped in Stutgart, Arkansas otherwise known as duck country so we could visit the famous Mack Prairie Wing Store. Everyone in the town had on a piece of camo clothing including my husband. I felt like I was totally out of place. The item of clothing that got me the most was the woman wearing high heel camo shoes... I mean they had it all.

We made it safely to Tennessee. We had Thanksgiving with my dad, stepmom, brother, and Grandmother. It was a nice trip. We had up to the minute sports updates and watched alot of football. Wyatt had a good time on his Airplane Mickey that his granddaddy bought for him. It was his favorite toy. He was such a good sport in the truck on the way up and back. We are truly blessed.

This week has been tough on us. Chris isn't feeling very good. He is never sick and he has a fever. Hopefully, it's just a weather change thing for him and nothing too serious. Also, Chris' Grandma Saam isn't doing well and hospice care is with her now. Please pray for peace and that God will take her home as she is ready. We also have heavy hearts for our dear friends the McCords. You can read updates on her blog. Please pray for their family as they endure this difficult situation. Our faith is strong in the Lord that he has his arms wrapped around us all and will comfort, guide, and pull us through.

On another note, for those of you that don't live here in Texas. Believe it or not...the high tomorrow is 40 degrees! There is even a chance of snow!
