Our sweet family of 4 is adjusting to life without sleep... :) Really we are doing great. Our bible class at church is bringing us food... Eli and Wyatt are both healthy...and I am still recovering but able to sit up and walk a little better each day. Wyatt is such a great big brother. He enjoys helping change diapers as long as there are no surprises waiting in the diaper in that case he runs for fear of it smelling! He is also the professional "burper" in our family. He has just the right pat on the back for Eli even better than mommy. Many warned me about the adjustment of the older sibling and how it is a difficult transition but for us we've been blessed once again with a loving big brother.

On another note, school started today for most everyone I know that is a teacher. In some ways, I wondered if I would miss the hustle and bustle of the first day with everyone starting off a new year, but reality set in when I heard the traffic at the elementary school behind our house this morning and someone making an all call on the speaker and I not giving school a second thought quickly turned over and went back to sleep!

He's Here!

Eli Saam Grubbs joined us Friday morning August 15th at 10:50am and is doing great. We had our first out of hospital doctors appointment and all is good! What a blessing! I did forget about the lack of sleep, wow. I'm really tired. Enjoy these pictures, we look forward to seeing/hearing from you all very soon.

Just a few minutes old!

Well, it's been a year since I blogged and many things have happened. Our big news is that our baby boy, Eli Saam will be born on Friday, August 15th. I am ready for him to be here. If anyone wants to know, I encourage you to have a baby in January rather than August. I am so thankful for air conditioning. What a blessing!

Currently, I am on bed rest until Friday due to swelling but as long as my feet are up we are good. Many have asked and my blood pressure is fine just a little swelling.

Wyatt is very excited about "his baby" coming. He has helped get the room ready and been shopping with us to Babies R Us. He's ready to meet his little brother at the hospital.

Other fun news, both of my sisters have little girls. Susan had her precious baby girl, Jamie, in April. 8 weeks after having a baby she competed in the world Taekwondo tournament and she is now the World Champion in weapons. Stephanie had her precious little girl, Abbie, on Aug. 5th. Steph and Abbie are both doing well. So, our family has been busy with babies.

Chris' business continues to grow. God continues to bless us in many ways.
